CANDLE CARE AND STYLING

CANDLE CARE

Trim candle wicks to 1/4" before each use. This will help prevent soot and extend the life of the candle. Do not drop matches or other flammable items into the candle. Do not burn candles in a draft. Keep candles away from curtains or anything around the candle that could create a fire. Always keep candles in sight when in use and keep away from children and pets. Never move a burning candle. Allow the candle to cool and wax to solidify before moving. The candle, container and/or wax can become extremely hot when in use.

TIPS

  • Avoid candle tunneling by burning for at least an hour on first lit. Tunneling are often created by short time burns. If your candle has already tunneled, make your candle a tin foil hat and cut a hole in the top for the flame. This will help the wax melt evenly.

  • Avoid candle glass turning black by trimming your candle’s wick before every use. The black smoke is created when cotton wick is too long and not centered.
